  • Activision the publishers of Guitar Hero in association with FreeStyleGames bring you DJ Hero. This game gives players the opportunity to have a full on DJ-ing experience by allowing them access to over 100 different songs to mix with using a turnable controller. Introducing gamers to what they describe as an " authentic DJ Culture" the developers ensure that that key mixing components were added. This includes a variety of samples and effects as well as features such as cross-fade, scratch plus beat match. DJ Hero also boasts gaming modes for both online and offline competitive and cooperative modes (play versus or team up with someone) ie. DJ vs. DJ, DJ + DJ, DJ + Guitar. The game with turntable controller will be available soon for an average cost of US $120 and is available for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii consoles. October 23, 2009 is the current release date for DJ Hero, however it can be pre-ordered from a number of outlets.
